Q5: The brand new Q loudspeaker system from Magico has many Magico firsts; to begin with, it uses all-Magico-designed drivers including a brand-new, in-house-built inverted dome tweeter that is said to extend upper-end frequency response to well beyond 50kHz at lower distortion levels and higher transmission speeds than Magico's superb MR-1 ring-radiator tweeter. MAGICO V2: As the culmination of more than 15 years of research and development, the V2 draws on the MAGICO heritage of advanced scientific research, proprietary driver technology, superb cabinet construction, and meticulous attention to detail. The V2 incorporates the same exacting and rigorous MAGICO “no compromise” implementation that defines all of our loudspeakers. The V2 embodies the spirit of the award-winning Mini II in our acclaimed V-series floor-standing enclosure design. Utilizing a unique 2.5-way configuration, it combines the coherence of a 2-way with the exceptional dynamic expression associated with our multi-way offerings. Containing two 7” Nano-Tec® drivers operating on separate circuits and mounted at different depths on a “zero horizontal-diffraction” baffle, the V2 is capable of delivering a highly resolved and seamless musical presentation, particularly through the critical mid-bass frequencies.

MAGICO V3: The MAGICO V3 sets a new price/performance benchmark in audio reproduction. Introduced in the summer of 2007, the V3 incorporates all we have learned in the past 15 years about loudspeaker design and manufacturing. Employing our new proprietary Nano-Tec® drivers and the world first "Elliptical Symmetry Crossover" (ESXO), the V3 will quickly set a new standard for high-end loudspeaker performance. As with our entire range of products, the MAGICO V3s are finished to reveal the beauty of the natural materials used in their construction; no veneer or paint is ever employed to disguise cheap materials or mask imperfect craftsmanship. Aluminum parts are treated with an anodization process that not only hardens and protects the metal surface, but also provides a unique appearance not achievable with paint. As with any MAGICO loudspeaker, "what you see is what you get" -- beautiful, yet high-performance materials combined in a unique design that is both exquisitely elegant and cutting-edge high-tech.

MAGICO MINI II: Hailed as The Absolute Sound’s "Product of the Year" for 2006 and described as "the most thoroughly, knowledgeably, and successfully engineered mini-monitor the high end has yet seen," the MINI gets a major upgrade. Incorporating a new custom-designed Nano-Tec® woofer, the MINIs can go deeper and play louder, with vanishingly low levels of distortion. Thanks in part to an all-new "Elliptical Symmetry Crossover" (ESXO), they are also easier to drive than their first incarnation. Weighing over 120lbs each, the MINI's stands are designed and constructed to play a vital role in allowing the speakers to achieve their maximum performance. Unlike most speaker stands, which use steel construction for their main support, MAGICO uses much more expensive but harmonically neutral 6061 aluminum. This material is known for its greater stiffness, lower energy storage, and resistance to "ringing." The speaker is then decoupled from the stand with a unique ball-bearing system. The 2.7-degree tilt of the top plate ensures perfect time alignment of the tweeter and midbass drivers. MAGICO M5: The M series represents MAGICO’s pursuit of the next frontier in loudspeaker design. Perhaps one of the most intricate passive loudspeakers ever built, the M5 has over 3000 individual elements. Retaining our revolutionary ‘tension-coupling’ mechanism, and combining our signature 17-ply Baltic Birch cabinet with a 200 lb. slab of 6061-T aircraft grade aluminum machined into 73 lb. vertically convex baffle, we’ve created the ideal housing for our massive new bass drivers. Intended to completely change the limits of loudspeaker performance, the 2009 innovation award winning M5 is the most thoroughly developed and technologically ambitious loudspeaker we’ve built to date. The M5 utilizes our proprietary MR-1 Ring Radiator tweeter, two optimally balanced 6” Nano-Tec® drivers, and new 9” Nano-Tec® woofers, making this the first Magico speaker to incorporate a full range of truly ‘in-house’ drive-units.

MODEL 6: Introduced just last year, the MAGICO M6 has already garnered the coveted Grand Prix Award in Japan and was lauded by The Absolute Sound's Robert Harley, Jonathan Valin and Wayne Garcia as "a breakthrough in dynamic loudspeaker design." The new M6s are shipped with their own set of the new Nano-Tec® drivers. The M6’s 650-pound 6061T-6 aluminum structure insures the perfect loudspeaker enclosure. Completely inert, it allows the energy generated by the drivers to be completely transferred to the room without any losses to the enclosure.

MAGICO Ultimate II: Conceived and constructed with the sole objective of true-to-life audio reproduction, the MAGICO "Ultimate" is nothing less than an industrial work of art that shatters all previous conceptions of what is possible in contemporary loudspeaker design and performance. The 5-way system is housed in all 6061T-6 aircraft-grade hard-anodized aluminum enclosures with front panels machined from 4"-thick slabs of solid aluminum. It incorporates 4 pairs of the most ambitious compression drivers ever made. An 80 Hz 1:1 midbass horn ensures a true horn-loaded signal down to 100 Hz. “The MAGICO Ultimate loudspeaker is, in my view, an advancement in the state-of-the-art in music reproduction. Its achievement also suggests something deeper about the mechanisms by which the sounds of instruments are corrupted by the recording and playback process.
