SCOTT WALKER AUDIO SALES POLICIES

Return Policy -- New Items:  Unless otherwise specified in writing, any new item purchased at Scott Walker Audio may be returned within 7 days of purchase for store credit minus a 20% restocking fee.  Item must include original sales receipt and be in “new” -- “perfect” condition with all manuals, remotes, accessories and original factory packaging/boxes.  Shipping costs are not refundable.

 

Used/Pre-owned Items:  Any Used/Pre-owned item is sold on an “as is” basis and all sales are final.  There are no warranties, refunds or exchanges.

 

Special Order Items:  Due to the specialty nature of the products that we sell, “special order” items are not returnable.  Most “special order” items are built to order and therefore require a deposit at the time of order.  Once a deposit has been tendered and accepted by Scott Walker Audio, the order is not able to be changed or cancelled.  All deposits on “special order“ items are non-refundable.

 

Deposits:  Deposits on new items can be converted to store credit.  Deposits on Used/Demo/Pre-owned and clearance items are non-refundable.  Deposits on “special order” items are non-refundable.  

Exchanges:  An item may be exchanged at the sole discretion of Scott Walker Audio.  A re-stocking fee may apply.  Any audio fuse needing to be exchanged is subject to a 33% restocking fee.  

 

Warranties:  Any new item for which we are authorized dealers for carries a full manufacturer’s warranty.  Any Used/Pre-owned item does not include a warranty.  Demo and clearance items may include a manufacturer’s warranty – please inquire on specific items.

 

Consignments:  Any item tendered to Scott Walker Audio for sale on consignment is subject to a 25% consignment fee.  Consignment items are sold in “as-is” condition and do not carry a warranty.

 

Warehouse / Storage:  Any item ordered and not picked up or delivered within 2 weeks of arriving at Scott Walker Audio may be subject to a warehouse storage fee.

 

Shipping Claims:  Any and all claims for shipping damage must be reported immediately and noted on the shipping paperwork / bill of lading at the time of receipt.  Concealed damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery of the product.
